Dear ShareWare Vendor/Sysop:
PDE and its accompanying documentation are Copyright 1994 by
James R. Aragon. All Rights Reserved.
DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
I want to see PDE distributed as widely as possible, therefore
you may distribute this shareware version of PDE freely subject
to a few easy conditions:
1. You must include ALL of the files (they are listed in the
file PACKING.LST), and you may not modify any of the files.
2. You may not sell this software. You may charge a fee for
distributing the software, not to exceed $10 total, for the
cost of copying the software and the media on which it is
distributed, and shipping and handling.
3. You must identify the software as "shareware" with an
appropriate definition that makes it clear that the fee is
a distribution fee only and that it does not include any
required license payments.
4. You must stop distributing this software if I ask you to.
You may archive or unarchive the software, or change to a
different archive, or bundle the software with other programs.
As long as you abide by the three conditions above, you can
distribute PDE any way you like.
Bulletin Board and commercial computer system operators: If
you charge a subscription or other fee for access to your system,
that's your business. As long as any fee you charge is for
general access to your system, and not specifically for
distributing PDE, then you are within the terms of this
distribution license. If you do charge a fee specifically for
downloading or distributing PDE, then you must keep it within the
$10 limit.
If you have any questions or suggestions, you can contact me in
any of the following ways:
CompuServe: I usually check for CompuServe mail daily. My
CompuServe user ID is 70372,335.
BBS: My "home" bulletin board is Power Station BBS in
Vallejo, California. This is a seven-line BBS with call
rollover. The first number in the rollover chain is (707)
552-0602. I check here several times daily. User name
"JIM ARAGON". If you leave a message here, use conference
1, "Private Mail."
Internet: You can send e-mail to my CompuServe account using
Internet address 70372.335@compuserve.com, or you can send
e-mail to me on Power Station BBS using Internet address
jim.aragon@ocr.com.
Fidonet: Power Station's Fidonet address is 1:161/123. Be
aware, however, that in my experience Fido netmail can be
both slow and unreliable. If you use netmail, don't assume
your message was received unless you get a confirmation
back from me.
Telephone: (707) 554-3402.
